ZyXel NR7101 | Outdoor 5G Router

The Zyxel NR7101 has download speeds higher than 5 Gbps on the 5G network and up to 2 Gbps on the mobile 4G network. The router is deployable as a primary network connection, but can also act as a backup for the current network. For additional reliable connectivity, the device features a dual-SIM card slot. Moreover, the Zyxel NR7101 can be used in bridge mode, allowing the router to be easily combined with Capestone switches and access points.

Durable design

In addition, the NR7101 has industrial qualities and with its outdoor-friendly design is weatherproof against: IP68: water, dust, dirt and sand resistant. But also against hurricane-level wind: (level 16, 200 km / hour) and the K.21 enhanced lightning protection.

Implementation with Fixed Wireless Access (FWA).

By implementing NR7101 as part of FWA, 5G service coverage can be extended to subscribers' homes and workplaces without additional cable infrastructure. The Zyxel router includes 6 built-in 10 dBi long range antennas for extremely high wireless coverage. In addition, the powerful antennas provide enhanced signal quality to ensure a stable mobile Internet connection at all times.

Easy installation and SA/NSA dual-mode compatibility

The Zyxel NR7101 features a flexible wall or pole mounting kit, integrated IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) support and a dedicated WiFi AP with graphics for mobile apps for eNB / gNB alignment. NR7101 is also interoperable with both Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) deployments.

Remote management and upgrade.

Through the LTE radio interface, NR7101 supports TR-069, remote GUI and FTP to be fully configurable. Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) support enables remote firmware upgrades and troubleshooting via operator triggered events. This means no physical presence at the site is required and this router can be fully remotely installed and maintained. The Zyxel NR7101 is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af/at) and comes complete with pole and wall mount bracket.
