The compact EdgeSwitch has a versatile port configuration: 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports supporting PoE + and 2 SFP ports for fiber connectivity, the 2 SFP ports support uplinks with a maximum speed of 1 Gbps.
Powerful performance
The EdgeSwitch delivers robust switching performance with its total, non-blocking throughput of up to 10 Gbps and forwarding capacity of up to 20 Gbps. The EdgeSwitch offers the forwarding capacity to handle traffic on all ports simultaneously and line speed without packet loss.
Convenient PoE + support
Eight Gigabit Ethernet ports share a total of 150 W and provide auto-sensing IEEE 802.3af / at PoE / PoE + or 24 V passive PoE to simplify your infrastructure. This means that the 802.3af / at devices are automatically detected and powered directly via Power over Ethernet. The configuration of the 24V passive PoE devices is done using the clear Edge Switch configuration interface.
User interface
Using the EdgeSwitch configuration interface, it is extremely easy to manage all ports. It is possible to access multiple switches, so you can manage switches from different locations from one central point. You can also read the status per port and set any VLANs.
