Ubiquiti AmpliFi HD Router
Lay the foundation for a multiroom WiFi solution with the Ubiquiti AmpliFi AFi-R router. This base station is the start of a Mesh system and can be expanded with extra Ubiquiti Mesh Points that extend the WiFi signal within the home. Without those extra points, the base station works like a normal router. The base station informs about the current internet speed via the built-in screen. With the free app, more extensive information about the home network is available.
Increase the range with Mesh Points
If the range of the Ubiquiti AmpliFi HD router is not sufficient, the range of the network can be increased by adding the Ubiquiti Mesh Point. The Mesh Point gives a boost in places with a weak WiFi signal and works via the socket. The Mesh technology ensures that the signal is equally strong and stable everywhere, so that there are no hiccups when you walk around with your mobile device.
Thanks to the socket operation, the Ubiquiti AmpliFi HD Mesh Point can be easily placed. Ideal are the LED indicators on the Mesh Point that indicate the strength of the signal. To improve the range, the antenna can also be turned in the desired direction. If desired, the system can be expanded with additional Mesh Points.
