Description
TP-Link TL-SG2428P
Software Defined Networking (SDN) with cloud access
TP-Link TL-SG2428P can be managed via the Omada Software. The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices, including access points, switches and gateways, for 100% centralized cloud management. Omada creates a highly scalable network that is all controlled from a single interface. It provides seamless wireless and wired connections, ideal for use in hospitality, education, retail and offices.
Omada Zero-Touch Provisioning
Zero-Touch Provisioning is there to efficiently implement 100% centralized cloud management of the entire network from multiple locations, all controlled from a single location
interface anywhere, anytime. Omada zero-touch provisioning enables remote deployment and configuration of multi-site networks, so no technician is required for on-site configuration. The Omada Cloud ensures efficient deployment with lower costs.
Assign different management roles
Rights assignment to multiple users is available to increase management efficiency and security. Multiple people management, multi-level permissions and the ability to add administrators as needed enable flexible network operation and maintenance.
Simple and intelligent network monitoring
The user-friendly dashboard makes it easy to see your real-time network status; check network usage and traffic distribution; receive network condition logs, abnormal event alerts and notifications; or even track key data for better business results. Network topology helps IP administrators quickly see the connection and troubleshoot problems at a glance.
Advanced QoS functions
To integrate voice, data and video service into one network, the TL-SG2428P applies a comprehensive QoS policy. The administrator can designate the priority of the traffic based on a variety of means, including port priority, 802.1P priority and DSCP priority, to ensure that voice and video are always clear, smooth and flicker-free.
L2 and L2 + functions
TP-Link JetStream TL-SG2428P supports a full range of L2 functions including IGMP Snooping / MLD Snooping, 802.1Q / MAC / Protocol VLAN, STP / RSTP / MSTP, Link Aggregation Group (LAG), Port Isolation, Port Mirroring and 802.3x Flow control function. IGMP Snooping ensures that the multicast stream is forwarded to the correct subscribers by the switch, while IGMP Throttling & Filtering restricts each subscriber to some level to prevent unauthorized multicast access. In addition, this switch also supports L2 + functions such as static routing. Through static routing, the network is segmented by rerouting traffic through the switch, making for a more efficient network.
IPv6 support
The TL-SG2428P supports extensive IPv6 functions, including IPv6 management, ACL, QoS and MLD Snooping, all these features ensure a smooth migration to an IPv6 network without changing the switch.
