The TP-Link TL-SG2210MP Jetstream is a Gigabit Smart switch with 10 ports, 8 of which support Power over Ethernet (PoE). The total PoE budget of this switch is 150W. The TL-SG2210MP is fully compatible with PoE devices, such as IP cameras, access points and VoIp phones. It is also suitable for wired devices without PoE, such as PCs, printers and IPTV. TP-Link’s TL-SG2210MP is ideal for professional networks and is powered externally via a power adapter.
SDN with cloud access
Omada’s SDN (Software Defined Networking) platform integrates network devices, such as access points, switches and gateways, and offers 100% centralized cloud management. Omada creates a highly scalable network that can be operated through a single interface. Both wired and wireless connections are possible, so it is ideal for use in hospitality, education, retail and offices.
This switch from TP-Link supports numerous L2 features, including 802.1Q tag VLAN, Port Isolation, Port Mirroring and 802.3 Flow Control. There are also features to maintain the network, such as Loop Back Detection and IGMP Snooping. IGMP snooping ensures that a multicast stream is forwarded only to the appropriate devices. IGMP throttling and filtering prevents the stream from going to unauthorized devices, which is easily set per port.
Comprehensive network security
With the TP-Link TL-SG2210MP, the network is extremely secure. For example, the switch applies features such as IP-MAC Port Binding, Port Security and DHCP Snooping. The Access Control Lists (ACL, L2 to L4) feature protects your network data by blocking packets based on MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports and VLAN ID. In addition, the switch supports 802.1X, which identifies network users via remote Radius servers. With the guest VLAN feature, non-802.1X users cannot enter the general network and can only access the guest network.
Quality of Service
This switch has Quality of Service support. This means that certain data streams can be prioritized using Port Priority, 802.1P Priority and DSCP Priority. For example, voice and video applications can be prioritized over standard Internet traffic. This ensures that there is no lag when making phone calls or playing video images.
