ZyXEL 5G Router – NR5101
Lightning fast internet connection
The Zyxel NR5101 has 5G NR DL speeds higher than 5 Gbps and 4G LTE DL speeds up to 2 Gbps. The router can be deployed as a primary network connection, but can also act as a backup for the current network. Moreover, the Zyxel NR5101 can also be used in bridge mode, so that the router can easily be combined with for example access points and gateways.
WiFi 6
The Zyxel NR5101 complies with the latest WiFi 6 (802.11ax) standard and offers speeds up to 1.8 Gbps with 2×2 UL/DL MU-MIMO. The uplink MU-MIMO, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) and beamforming technologies enable the NR5101 to deliver top speeds for multi-streaming data access and an optimal WiFi experience without dead zones.
Implementation with Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)
By implementing NR5101 as part of FWA, 5G service coverage can be extended to subscribers’ homes and workplaces without additional cable infrastructure. The Zyxel router includes 6 built-in omni-directional antennas for high wireless coverage. The powerful antennas also provide improved signal quality so that there is always a stable mobile Internet connection.
Remote management and upgrade
Through the LTE radio interface, NR5101 supports TR-069, external GUI and FTP to be fully configurable. Firmware Over-The-Air (FOTA) support allows remote firmware upgrades and troubleshooting via operator triggered events. This means that one does not need to be physically present at the site and this router can be fully installed and maintained remotely.
